How your choice applies
If you are signed in when you opt out, or when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, your choice is saved to your account. It applies on every browser and device where you are signed in to that account, and to purchases made for your account. When you sign in on another browser, we turn the opt-out on for that browser too. Until you sign in on a browser, we cannot tell it is yours, so we treat it as a separate visitor until you sign in or opt out there.
If you are not signed in, your choice is saved on this browser. When you later sign in on this browser, or buy here with the email address on your account, we save it to your account too. If you use a different browser or device, or clear your cookies, you will need to set it again, or sign in and make it once.
Turning sharing back on takes two steps: untick the box, then confirm.
